Module 4

After several attempts at identifying a suitable vodcast, I have finally managed to post it into my blog. Teacher tube was initially my source but after failing to find a suitable clip that could have the embed code recognised, I went straight to YouTube.

There is defintely merit in using this tool for the classroom. There's a vast range of clips that are fun and educational which children would no doubt enjoy viewing and commenting.

The clip I selected was inspired by last week's once in a lifetime experience...I discovered the source of the dust storm was from Broken Hill. The remnants of this storm are still very evident on the facade of my car...I will now need to go and clean the car!

Module 3

Slowly I am beginning to grasp the value of all this technology.
I can see the value of sharing ideas with each other...there would no doubt be excitement among students if they had the capacity to share ideas in a secure site.
I look forward to having some time in the upcoming holidays so I can have more time exploring this.
